Public Participancy and Critiques on New de Young Design

When Herzog and de Meuron's design was firstly announced in June 11, 1999 editions of the Chronicle and the Examiner, it was answered with considerable protest. The public voices, both from PRO side and CON side, went along the project time line and either had influences on the progress/agenda of the project.
