Follow up comments on the organizational structure

Why did UCSF Mt. Zion turn out the way it did? 
Here is a list of things that affect the process of making a building:

• site and context

• program / code

• design team structure

• budget

• schedule

• contract with trades

All of these things shaped the Comprehensive Cancer Center in some way, but the single most influential component in our minds is the client, UCSF.
