L&D Construction: Senior Housing Contractor
Charles Buxton is the L&D Construction Contractor for the senior housing
construction phase (phase I). "Buck" reports all progress, issues,
concerns, conflicts, scheduling, inspection results, ordering issues,
etc. to the project leaders at every draw meeting, held once a month.
One of the items on the agenda at the monthly draw meetings was to go
over the Construction Progress Reports. The Construction Progress report
shows a list of all the parts needed in the construction process, the
percent at which they needed to be done by a particular time, and the
percent at which they were ACTUALLY done by that particular time. These
are presented to the contract inspectors, looked through, and everyone
signs. The contractor, the housing department, the owner, and the architect,
all must sign the progress report.
